[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=““]The LAW – COMMERCE – ECONOMY Proceedings is a periodically published collection of academic papers, issued annually to mark the international academic symposium LAW – COMMERCE – ECONOMY. All contributions not only address current issues in accordance with de lege lata, but the authors of the individual papers also include reflections and proposals regarding de lege ferenda at both national and international levels. It is also worth highlighting the international element of the LAW – COMMERCE – ECONOMY proceedings, as the authors of the papers are not only representatives of the Slovak academic community and legal practice, but also international experts, which is why the academic symposium is designated as international.<\/p>\n

The symposium\u2019s scientific committee, as well as the publishers of the LAW – COMMERCE – ECONOMY proceedings, recognise the need for integrity in academic publications and the need to adhere to ethical criteria in academic research and publishing. The symposium\u2019s scientific committee and the publishers ensure that the LAW – COMMERCE – ECONOMY proceedings, whilst taking measures to prevent plagiarism as part of their activities, including through a standard peer-review process based on the principle of \u2018double-blind peer review\u2019. At the same time, however, they allow for freedom of academic expression and academic debate.<\/p>\n

The editors of the LAW – COMMERCE – ECONOMY proceedings therefore fully endorse the principles of publication ethics as set out and published on the website of the Committee on Publication Ethics.<\/p>\n

Authors\u2019 responsibilities<\/h3>\n

Authors must submit only original scholarly works that have not been published in any other collection, journal or other scholarly publication, and which are not currently under review in any other publication process.<\/p>\n
