The editorial board is responsible for the academic and editorial standards of the journal, oversees compliance with the editorial policy and ensures the independence of editorial decision-making.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the editorial board must possess appropriate academic and publishing qualifications, and their institutional affiliations must be publicly stated. Academic, institutional and geographical diversity is encouraged in the composition of the editorial and scientific bodies.<\/p>\n<h3>Editorial Process<\/h3>\n<p>Every manuscript undergoes a formal and substantive editorial review before being submitted for peer review.<\/p>\n<p>The editorial board verifies, in particular:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the article\u2019s alignment with the journal\u2019s scope,<\/li>\n<li>compliance with formal requirements,<\/li>\n<li>originality and scientific contribution,<\/li>\n<li>the appropriateness of the methodology used,<\/li>\n<li>the completeness of bibliographic details,<\/li>\n<li>compliance with citation rules,<\/li>\n<li>and any potential breaches of publication ethics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The editorial board may reject a contribution at this stage if it clearly fails to meet basic academic or formal requirements. Such a decision does not constitute a rejection following peer review.<\/p>\n<h3>Editorial Decisions and Appeals<\/h3>\n<p>Editorial decisions must be based on professional criteria and must not be influenced by personal or institutional relationships.<\/p>\n<p>An author has the right to request a review of a decision if they believe that a serious procedural error, a conflict of interest or an incorrect assessment of the relevant facts occurred during the peer review or editorial process.<\/p>\n<p>The appeal must set out specific grounds and may not be based solely on the author\u2019s disagreement with the reviewer\u2019s professional opinion.<\/p>\n<p>The final decision on the appeal is taken by the editor-in-chief or a member of the editorial board appointed by the editor-in-chief who was not directly involved in the original decision.<\/p>\n<h3>Complaints and Reports<\/h3>\n<p>Authors, reviewers and readers may submit a report to the editorial board concerning:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>publication ethics,<\/li>\n<li>conflicts of interest,<\/li>\n<li>copyright infringement,<\/li>\n<li>plagiarism,<\/li>\n<li>the quality or integrity of the peer-review process,<\/li>\n<li>incorrect or misleading content in a published article.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The editorial board is obliged to investigate the report appropriately, maintain the confidentiality of the proceedings and take appropriate measures.
